Our Story
In 2012, our son Robert suffered a C5-7 Spinal Cord Injury that changed everything. After spending years in therapy and focusing on recovery, he had to find a way to keep his body healthy. As an outdoorsman, he has always loved caring for the land and the amazing gifts God has given us in the form of plants and nature. Growing plants that will nourish his body as well as anyone who desires better food choices gave him a purpose and a mission to provide home grown fruits and vegetables. On just an acre of land, he managed to grow a healthy food forest that provided ample food for family, neighbors and friends. In 2024, we sold our home to purchase more land near the forest so we could live on our homestead and grow the nursery that he works on a daily basis. The Garden was tapped as his recovery garden and is his therapy. Teaching one on one is a special gift he has as well as his ability to absorb and retain a wealth of knowledge from reading and experiencing to trial and error. What he has learned, he desires to share with others. We look forward to helping you understand the benefits of knowing what goes into your body and giving it the best chance to stay strong and live long!

We welcome the young to come to the Garden and learn and "test" the fruits and vegetables we have growing. Some things you can do at home also promote learning...Read More
